At the beginning of the process, I only had a week to create the wireframes and the only material that I had was the smartphone features and a brief cover of the story. The script wasn't already done by Escape 60 so I started to figure out how to combine the smartphone features with the story.

Then I started to cross over that information on a mind map and illustrate a storyboard. This is how I created my own vision of how the game could be.

When I received the Script, it was a relief. Samsung and Escape 60 had done a nice job combining the riddles with the Galaxy Note8 features. My objective at this point was to transfer all the storytelling into a pleasurable and friendly interface.

You are Sam Note, a renowned explorer seeking new adventures. During your expedition to an island, you stumble and fall into a mysterious cave. You are momentarily trapped in a terrible booby trap. In this game, your day restarts every four minutes. The only way to reverse the spell is to solve the riddles of the island with the help of your Galaxy Note8.

When I started to create the structure, I realized that I had some big challenges.

1. I was designing a game with only four minutes for users to accomplish the tasks.

2. Then I was building a time-limited experience.

3. I had to create a riddle experience and a conversation interface simultaneously

I then started to think about the best way to merge so much information into an elegant experience.

Below you can see a video of the work in progress.

The first prototype was made in invision, with low fidelity. The objective was to test and collect some perceptions of the game. The prototype also served to document and detail interactions.

Users' test

After a few tests with the team, we decided to invite six clients and validate our prototype. This phase of the project was extremely important, we made some discovers based on real clients' perception and iterate upon then.

The whole team worked in partnership since the beginning.
The result couldn't be better. I would like to give special credits to Renato Michalischen, Francisco Adelano, Marco leal, Fabio Del Rio and Camila Moletta for this project.
